I think transracial adoption is great if you really understand the issues that most black people face and if you are able to expose your child to other people who like like him or her. I don't think it's a good situation for a black child to be the only black kid in the class or the neighborhood...

Everyone, thank you so much for your nice comments! The babies really weren't bad, it's just that Kee was fussy and Athena was running around like a wild animal after being in the car for 45 minutes. Overall they probably did better than expected but it was still quite a project!

I acrried mine on when I went to Guatemala in 2005 and had no problems. I didn't wind up using it though until we got there, because I just couldn't find a time and place to use it really. I didn't really have time to either.
